The Process

Velvet Night Brandy is created under the category of grape brandy, meaning that the source of the it’s alcohol is grape wine. I distill the wine, separating and concentrating the alcohol which contains the flavors and characters of the wine varietal being worked with. Barreling and aging is done in American and European oak, with the percentage of each based on whether the wine was red or white. Aging and evaluation continue until the flavors desired appear. The entire process takes several years, with a minimum of two years being required by Federal Standards for the Grape Brandy category.

The process is natural and no additives are utilized.
